DISTRICT CONKER COMPETITION 2008 |
On Saturday 18th October 65 Cubs from across Hyndburn took part in the annual Conker Competition, which was held in Oswaldtwistle.
The competition has been running for around 30 years and sees the Cubs taking part in a variety of events from connect 4 to cross country.
This once again proved to be a very exiting event and one which all the Cubs and leaders enjoyed

Before giving the results I would like to thank the leaders who ran the bases, the Scout fellowship Pat and Bill for once again keeping the hungry Cubs fed and watered (and the leaders), to Bryony from st wulstans scouts who assisted me in the event, and to all group leaders and young people for taking part, and making this an excellent event.
